faAB Pleat

faAB Pleat featuring ten hidden loops, 4" (10 cm) self-lined heading, 4" (10 cm) blind stitched hem, 1" (2.5 cm) blind stitched side hems.

So easy to use, so simple in its design, a truly classic heading for any décor.

The innovative faAB Pleat® looks just like a custom-made pleat panel, yet it slips easily onto a decorative pole—no hooks, no I-beams, no rings.

Using ten simple loops, hidden on the back of the 4" (10 cm) turned and self-lined heading, we’ve created an easy but elegant pleated drapery. Since faAB designed and introduced it in 2000, it’s been our best selling heading. It works beautifully in casual fabrics like microfibre suede or is a showstopper in elegant embroidered dupioni silk.

Grommet Panel

Grommet Panel features eight brushed nickel metal grommets. With 1.5" (3.8 cm) centres. 4" (10 cm) blind stitched hem, 1" (2.5 cm) blind stitched side hems.

Available in our bestselling collections, the clean modern look of grommets work beautifully in both contemporary and traditional fabrics. faAB’s generously sized grommets slip easily onto a decorative rod. Simple yet elegant.

Perfect Pleat II

Perfect Pleat II features seven 6" (15 cm) long fixed, goblet style pleats. Seven hidden tabs, sized for a 1" (2.5 cm) to 1.5" (4 cm) decorative rod. Finished width is 27" (68 cm) when fully extended. 4" (10 cm) self-lined heading, 4" (10 cm) blind stitched hem and 1" (2.5 cm) blind stitched side hems.

We’ve taken all the best features of our two exclusive headings—Pleat Panel and Perfect Pleat—and blended them together to make one perfect ready-made panel. The innovative improvements make the drapery easier to use and much more flexible in its application.

Here’s how:

ONE: We’ve sewn seven beautifully constructed goblet style pleats into the panel so it looks just like the Perfect Pleat from the front. And, just like the Perfect Pleat, the pleats are perfectly spaced and fixed so that the beauty of the folds remain—even when the panels are drawn or closed.

TWO: We’ve made it dead easy to install. There are nine simple tabs hidden on the back of the Perfect Pleat II, so it looks just like our bestselling Pleat panel from the back. Now, this customized pleat style drapery can slip easily on to a decorative rod.

Works In Two Perfect Ways:

One, slips easily on to a decorative rod. Simply use the loops, sewn on the back of the drapery panel.

Or Two, change the simple ready-made with the addition of pin hooks (a package of nine, along with simple how-to instructions are provided in each drapery package). With the pin hooks in place, the drapery panel will work perfectly when installed on a decorative rod with rings (or use an I-Beam or traverse rod).

Inverted Pleat

Inverted Pleat features seven 6" (15 cm) long, fixed and hidden goblet style pleats. Nine hidden tabs, sized for a 1" (2.5 cm) to 1.5" (3.8 cm) decorative rod. Finished width of heading is 27" (68 cm) when fully extended, 4" (10 cm) self-lined heading, 4" (10 cm) blind stitched hem and 1" (2.5 cm) blind stitched side hems.

We've taken the best features from the faAB Pleat and incorporated it into the Inverted Pleat. This exclusive heading is a modern twist on a classic drapery heading. The innovative ready- made styling makes this sophisticated drapery very easy to install.

ONE: We've sewn seven fixed pleats on the back of the heading. This results in the goblet style pleat being inverted and hidden on the back of the heading. The pleats are perfectly spaced and structured, which results in a clean, contemporary look on the front of the ready-made.

TWO: We've made it dead easy to install. There are nine simple tabs hidden on the back of the Inverted Pleat, so it works just like our bestselling faAB Pleat panel. Which means the innovative Inverted Pleat can slip easily on to a decorative rod.

Rod Pocket Panel

The Rod Pocket Panel is finished with a 4" (10 cm) double turned hem, weighted corners and 1" (2.5 cm) blind stitched side seams.

Available in lightweight and sheer fabrics only, the heading has a 2.5" (6 cm) pocket, topped by a 1" (2.5 cm) frill. Designed to comfortably fit onto a 1.5" (3.8 cm) drapery rod or the Add-a-Rod.

Banded Panels

Our Persia Silk and Siam collections, are available with a custom banded feature. Choose any two colours within the same collection and designate one colour for the main body of the panel (75% of the overall length of the drapery) and one colour for the decorative band (25% of the drapery). Truly a customized look.
